Katil Semih Çelik’in geçtiğimiz yıl İkbal Uzuner’e videolu mesaj gönderdiği ve mesajda, İkbal’i öldürme planı yaptığını anlattığı ortaya çıktı.

Arka planda Pixies'in "Where is my mind? (Aklım Nerede?)" şarkısını dinlediği duyulan Katil Semih Çelik, videoda şu ifadeleri kullanıyor:

İstanbul'da Semih Çelik tarafından 2 genç kızın vahşice öldürülmesine ilişkin yürütülen soruşturma sürüyor. Katil Semih Çelik'in bilgisayarında, İkbal Uzuner'i öldürmekten ve intihardan bahsettiği video dışındaki tüm verilerin silindiği belirlendi. Öldürülen İkbal Uzuner'in telefon şifresi kırılırken aynı zamanda diğer katledilen Ayşenur Halil'in ise telefonu henüz açılmadı. Öldürülen kızların ayin veya ritüele katıldığı yöndeki iddialara ilişkin ise polis henüz bir ize rastlamadı.

Eyüpsultan ve Fatih'te 4 Ekim'de 19 yaşındaki Semih Çelik, kendisiyle aynı yaştaki Ayşenur Halil ile İkbal Uzuner'i öldürdükten sonra Edirnekapı'daki surlardan atlayarak intihar etmişti.

Polis ekipleri, Semih Çelik'in kullandığı elektronik cihazlarını da incelemeye aldı. Çelik'in açılan bilgisayarında İkbal Uzuner ile ilgili çektiği, Uzuner'i öldürmekten ve intihardan bahsettiği video tespit edilirken bilgisayardaki diğer bütün verilerin silindiğini belirledi.
