The breathtaking scene, first shared on Instagram by the Jaguar Ecological Reserve, shows a jaguar stalking its prey. A jaguar is seen walking towards a crocodile relaxing by a body of water as it almost disappears into the surrounding foliage.
The jaguar suddenly leaps forward; his strong muscles allow him to move at incredible speeds. The crocodile barely had time to react before it was pulled into the water where the real fight begins.
In an instant, a jaguar grabs a crocodile in its mouth as it moves along the river bank. His highest place in the food chain reminds us of his strength, stealth and dominance in his surroundings.
